Testing Methodology

All acoustical tests were conducted by an independent, accredited third-party laboratory in accordance with ASTM E90 (STC), ASTM E492 (IIC), and ISO 10140 (HIIC) standards. Test reports are available upon request for specification purposes. HIIC (High Impact Insulation Class) is a newer, more rigorous metric than IIC and is increasingly required by building codes and architects for multi-family residential projects.
