Installation Guidelines
- 1Ensure substrate is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or old adhesive residue.
- 2Acclimate rubber base to room temperature (65–85°F) for at least 24 hours before installation.
- 3Apply Allstate-recommended contact adhesive to both the back of the base and the wall surface.
- 4Allow adhesive to flash off (approx. 5–10 min) until tacky before pressing base firmly into position.
- 5Use a rubber roller to ensure full contact along the entire length, paying special attention to corners.
- 6For inside corners, cut base at 45° and use corner molds for a clean finish. For outside corners, use pre-formed outside corner pieces.
- 7Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours before exposing to heavy traffic or cleaning.
