Soundstop I delivers certified acoustical performance with a 3mm profile and 12-mil wear layer. The factory-bonded acoustical backing eliminates the need for a separate 1/8" sound mat — saving $0.55/SF on every upper-floor unit.

IIC 55
STC 62 / IIC 55 — Redesigned 2024. No separate sound mat required.
Soundstop II adds 0.5mm to the profile for improved dimensional stability and a slightly higher IIC rating. The 12-mil wear layer handles moderate commercial traffic while delivering STC 62 / IIC 55 — saving $0.65/SF versus a traditional LVT + 1/8" mat installation.

Soundstop IV is AFC's highest-rated acoustical product. The 5mm profile with 20-mil commercial wear layer achieves STC 64 / IIC 58 — the best acoustical performance available in a single-product glue-down LVT. Eliminates the 1/4" sound mat, saving $1.50/SF.
